3M Co. said Wednesday it will acquire Grafoplast SpA, an Italian manufacturer of wire identification systems.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Grafoplast is based in Predosa, Italy, and has about 90 employees. It makes identification and marking systems for cables, wires and other electrical components.
The acquisition helps 3M expand its product offerings from its electrical markets division.
3M shares fell $1.13 to $61.25 in premarket trading.
